Platinum Jubilee Street Party

Everyone is invited to Chipping Campden's celebrations for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee on Sunday 5th June.

The celebrations of her 70-year reign will commence with an Ecumenical Service in the Town Square at 10.30 am. Chipping Campden Councillors will be undertaking the periodic safety testing on the Memorials in St James Churchyard on 11th May this year.

They will be following the guidance and procedures set out in the documents below.

It would be appreciated if people with memorials in the Churchyard could check them before 11th May and ensure that they are safe.

Gloucestershire Young Women & Girls Mentoring Project is aimed at assisting those who are currently facing challenges in their lives, requiring support and encouragement to help set achievable goals as well as raising awareness of their mental and emotional well-being. Town Square Car Park

From Wednesday 30th March 2022 the ticket machine in the Town Square Car Park will be accessible for use and the temporary free car parking will cease.

If you use the car park, please purchase a ticket at the machine and display it on your dashboard in your vehicle.

The free 20 minute tickets will still be available from the machine for shoppers who only need to park for a short time.

Living or working locally, they can attend an emergency more quickly than an ambulance that may have to travel miles.
